Have You Ever Tried This Awesome Asian Diet?

Asian women have almost no cellulite, and you will hardly ever see an obese Chinese. One of the biggest reasons is that they eat healthy meals and their country’s cuisine is very varied. Moreover, they do not use harmful saturated fats in their diets that are, along with the sugar, the main cause for cellulite buildup and weight gain as well.

It is believed that Asians are thin thanks to their philosophy which has influence in Chinese food culture. It’s about eating smaller and varied portions in shorter intervals and never fill yourself up to the brim. Dr Colin Campbell wrote a book called ‘The China Study’, in which he explains how the Asian way of nutrition can serve as a weight loss plan. That’s why the diet is called the Asian diet.

Most Asian diets focus heavily on Asian white rice, fruits and vegetables. Occasionally the rice can be replaced by corn, whole meal bread or whole-wheat flour pasta.
However, the Asian diet can include carrots, lettuce, spinach, chard, kale, garlic and onions. You may consume them fresh or cooked and seasoned with vinegar and oil every day. Additionally, you may eat nuts, fish, soy, fresh cheese and drink yoghurt.

It is also allowed to eat poultry meat, eggs and sweets once a week. However, instead of sweets you should eat fruits or fresh cheese with honey and nuts, or a 75% cocoa dark chocolate.

You should eat red meat only once a month. It is recommended to avoid veal, beef and particularly pork meat. However, there is a longer list of permitted foods that you are allowed to eat as much as you like or as long as you satisfy your hunger.

The meals are not precisely defined, which can confuse those who are not familiar with the Asian cuisine, and the foods that Asians generally consume.

Therefore you can combine the foods as you like, but pay attention to the amount of calories you intake.

Try out the Asian diet for a day to decide whether it’s something you can commit to and follow it long-term.

The Asian diet typically contains low-calorie foods that can help you lose 3 kilograms in 10 days, according to Dr Collin Campbell.
Here’s the suggested 1 day diet plan:

Breakfast:
Cooked millet in skimmed milk and a cup of green unsweetened tea with lemon.

Snack:
Chopped fruit in a low-calorie yoghurt. As an alternative we suggest an orange or a grapefruit and a cup of green tea.

Lunch:
Brown rice with steamed vegetables and tomato sauce. Another option is a baked potato with chicken that you can spice it up with lemon and vinegar.

Snack:
A cup of skim milk, chamomile tea or green tea. For those who cannot refrain from giving in to hunger it is advisable to take another orange or grapefruit.

Dinner No 1:
Chicken cut into small cube pieces, along with broccoli and other green vegetables. Prepare the chicken in a little oil and season it with lemon and spices.

Dinner No. 2: (applies to those who go to bed late):
A cup of milk or a cup of tea
