This Grandmother Gave Birth To Her Own Grandson

Theresa Hohenhaus has been a motherly figure to many, however, she thought she was done having children considering:

She had fostered 50 children
Had 5 children of her own
She’s 46-years-old

However, after her daughter Alice found out that she’d never be able to have a child of her own, Theresa stepped in as a surrogate for her daughter.

Giving birth to her own grandson, Theresa’s incredible sacrifice kept her daughter’s dreams of having a family alive.

Theresa’s 25-year-old daughter Alice was only four-years-old when she was diagnosed with leukemia. Though she went into remission when she turned eight, she relapsed the following year and full body radiation lowered the possibility of her ever having children due to scar tissue.
