You Won’t Believe But This Woman Has Her Period For 5 Years Straight!

Every woman knows how painful periods can be. Having a period on 28 days is a quite painful that bothered every woman.

So can you imagine having your period all the times? Imagine having you period that last for five years and still counting?

Chloe Christos is the woman with this sad destiny and she would like to share her story with other women and help them if they are going through same thing.

Chloe Christos is from Perth, Australia and has bleeding disorder where her blood is prevented of clotting properly. Her period started when she was 14 years and never stopped.

“Day to day my life was literally being cared for by my mother” explains Chloe for Daily Mail Australia.

For the ABC News she explained how she had suffered every day, every year and how often she had to go in the emergency room for infusions in order to control the severe anemia she’d developed.

She was really embarrassed to talk about because she felt very different and alone.

She was fainting a lot, and her pressure was very low, so she was stopped from driving or going out at all.

Few years later when she was 19, doctor tested her blood and diagnosed with Von Willerbrand diseases. This is a lifelong disorder that prevents blood from clotting properly. But still the girl was far from the cure.

Doctors suggested her different treatments. One of them was hysterectomy in order to stop her from uncontrollable bleedings. But she refused considering that she is too young now to determinate if she will have children or not.

Women lose in average from 20 to 60ml of blood throughout the course of their period.

Anything above 80ml is considered as heavy bleed and can you imagine this girl is losing 500ml in four days.

Despite the fact she had her diagnosis set by doctors, she still suffer.

She had used synthetic drug, but after years of using she started to experience terrible side effects.

The drug stops bleeding for 12 hours, then it should be taken another dosage.

Now she says that she feel normal for the first time in life at the age of 27. And she work to raise awareness that many women suffer from this bleeding disorder. And according to Alain Baumann many women and men with this disorder are not diagnosed and identified for years.
