Your diet plays a big part in the appearance of your skin. You have probably heard the saying “You are what you eat” and it’s true, as our diet affects our overall health and the way we look.

Although there are plenty of cellulite removal options, it’s best if you start cleaning from the inside out and pay attention to the food you eat.

Fast food, fried food and carbs are your enemies!

The cellulite food blacklist is long, but carbs are on top of it. They are almost in anything we eat –cookies, cakes, ice-cream, bread, rice and pasta contain a lot of carbohydrates, so it’s wise to limit the amount of these foods right away. Fast food should be avoided as well – yes, we know that hotdogs and hamburgers taste great, but the truth is that they’re full of fat, calories, toxins and carcinogenic substances which could damage your body beyond repair. The same goes for fried food. Even if you don’t have cellulite, eat carbs, fast and fried food and you could easily get it.

You should also reduce the amount of animal fat, margarine and dairy products in your diet. Drinking salty water will result in water retention which is one of the main cellulite causes. If you want to avoid cellulite, you should stay away from alcohol and carbonated drinks as well. These drinks contain lipids which cause cellulite due to the high sugar content, and are also dangerous for your overall health if consumed excessively.

Avoiding the foods and drinks we mentioned above should help you have a cellulite-free and healthy figure as well as better overall health.
