They Put This Old Nokia Cell Phone Under A Hydraulic Press.. When They Go To Crush It..OMG!!
The person who runs the Hydraulic Press YouTube channel decided to test the legendary durability of the Nokia 3210 and 3310. Many people believe the phones would survive a fall from the Empire state building and break the asphalt of the New York streets. Although these models can withstand a lot of abuse, the owner of the Hydraulic press channel wondered how long one of these phones would survive his machine.
The YouTube video clearly shows the phone breaking after a few seconds. It does not withstand the force of the press any other object put through the test. After the first run only one part of the phone remains intact. The bottom of the phone, where the user would have plugged its charger in, can still be seen. The hydraulic press operator decides to run the phone through the press a second time. The former Nokia cell phone becomes a Nokia plastic pancake after the second hydraulic press run.
Although the urban legends about how tough the old Nokia headsets were still remain, the phones could not withstand several hundred pounds of direct forces. The owner of the video channel and the press does offer a small bit of comfort for the Nokia corporation at the end of the video. He says that the handset still looks vaguely like a phone after his test.
