He Uses A Simple Soda Can To Bust Open This Lock..I Will Never Trust These Things Again!
Many people today rely on locks to help secure a variety of things. The heavy locks are commonly seen helping to keep lockers, storage units and even bike chains secured to prevent thieves from stealing anything. The problem is that lock technology has not really changed much. This has allowed people to develop a number of ways to overcome the most common locks around today. One man on YouTube showed how to open a lock using nothing but a soda can and a pair of scissors.
He starts with an empty soda can. Cut away the top and bottom of the can until you are left with just the sides. Cut the remaining cylinder to open it up and rub it over the edge of a table until it turns into a flat piece of metal. Cut two strips from the metal about the width of two fingers. Cut a V-shape into the center of each strip going about half to two-thirds the way up. Fold back the metal on each side the V-shaped tab so that it is hanging down in the center of the strip. Round off the bottom of the tab so that it is smooth.
You now want to take one tab and wrap it around one side of the U-shaped bar on top of the lock. Push it down into the opening where the end of the bar goes. Rotate the metal piece to the right until you hear a click. Do the same for the other side. The metal tabs will actually push back the locking mechanisms inside the unit. You can then just pop the lock open.
