He Decided to Eat only Potatoes for 365 Days and After a Month Here’s What Happened!
Andrew Flinders (36) from Melbourne began his “potato experiment” on January 1, and decided that he would eat only potatoes for a year.
When he stepped on the scale, which showed 151 kg, he decided to try to do something with his life and to completely change his habits towards food because he was aware that he became addicted to food.
“Today I weighed, and I think never I was heavier, 151 kilograms. I was not happy about it, “said Andrew.” When you are addicted to drugs or alcohol for example, the best thing you can do is to stop taking drugs or drinking alcohol,” he explained his dependence on food and decided to eat only potatoes because he had to eat something.
“Most of the calories, nearly 99 per cent, I would get from potatoes, and I’ll eat only spices and some other things with them,” said Andrew.
During his experiment he will not use oil in the preparation of the dishes, nor keep track of his calorie intake and he’ll eat as much as he needs to satisfy your appetite.
So far he managed to lose 10 pounds, but also warns people that it was only his project, not a successful diet that people should adopt.
“I want to improve my relationship with food. This is not a diet. No one paid me, nor I am trying to sell a product”
