She Expected Normal Twins but When the Doctors Saw this, They Got in Complete Shock!

Kate was overjoyed when she found out she was pregnant with twins but that feeling quickly disappeared when the doctor told her they were Monoamniotic, or “MoMo,” and were unlikely to survive. She was hospitalized for weeks. Her story and photos that she shared on Facebook was read by lots of people around the world!

This rare condition means the twins have no dividing membrane, so their umbilical cords wrap around each other as the fetuses grow. “MoMo” twins are given a 50-70% chance of surviving the cord entanglement they create.
However, Kate and her husband were happy and after 32 weeks and cesarean section they welcomed the two girls into the world. The twins who survived this medical condition are very close, and practically inseparable because of the way in which they were growing in the womb. Their umbilical cords were wrapped around them, keeping them so close together that they are even emotionally connected.

Their umbilical cords were examined after delivery and they were found to be so severely knotted that left everyone in the room shocked at how the twins were able to survive that densely knotted cord.
Kate says the pregnancy put her marriage to the ultimate test, but in the end, two beautiful girls were born into the world despite the odds against them.
