Shocking video of slaughter pigs in a meat factory shook America – (VIDEO)

Animal rights activists hidden camera secretly record inhumane treatment of workers to pigs in an American meat factory. The terrifying video is not for sensitive people.

You can see the greased pig feces and that workers beat, drag along the ground and slaughter in a way which is not in accordance with the existing rules on the treatment of animals raised for human consumption.

“If the USDA (US Department of Agriculture) was here, they would take us to the prison,” says one of the workers.

The video was recorded by the organization Compassion over Killing in the factory Quality Pork Processors, in Austin. That factory produces more than half of the raw material for Hormel, known manufacturer of dried meat products.

The group sent the uncensored video material for a period of several hours to the Ministry of Agriculture and local authorities.

Nate Jansen, vice president of human resources QPP announced that the company punished workers who are seen in the video and that long before the organization released it. They were supposed to have install security camera at the factory.

He also argues that the video was posted on YouTube does not show the true picture of the production process.

“If you watch the video, you will see that the animals are treated according to acceptable rules. I have full confidence in the food they produce, “he said.

However, people from animal protection organizations say that the video speaks for itself.

According to the Federal Law on humane slaughter, animals must be fully dormant before slaughter. However, from Compassion Over Killing says that the QPP kill 1,300 pigs per hour, more than in any other factory, which means that the rules are not respected.
