A Girl Born With Heart Outside Her Chest Exceeds Doctor’s Expectations

This little girl who was born with a heart outside her chest is one in a million. Virsaviya Borun exceeds doctor’s expectations every day.

She was born with a very rare condition. Her heart is outside her chest protected with a thin layer of skin, so we can see her heart beating.

This 6 year old Russian girl misses part of her abdominal muscles and diaphragm.

Virsavya’s mother, Dari says that while she was pregnant, the doctors told her that her little girl won’t survive. But Virsavya exceeded even the biggest doctor’s expectations and from that moment she has been known as the “little warrior.” “When I was pregnant, the doctor told me that she won’t survive, that she’ll die.” – said Dari.

Despite her medical problems Virsavya is an optimist. She is very religious and loves drawing and ballet, and her favorite singer is Beyonce.

Most of all, she likes when her mother touches her heart. “She comes to me every day and asks if I will touch her heart. I believe that Jesus will cure my little girl” – says Dari. “My mother always tells me that she adores my heart and I really love that. I know why my heart is outside my chest. Because Jesus wants to show the world he can create special things, just like me.” – explains Virsavya.

Dari is a single mom, struggling and fighting for her daughter’s life for almost six years. She wants her daughter to have a normal childhood.

Since doctors in Russia are not specialized to operate patients with such complicated condition, Dari and Virsavya now live in Boston, where the little warrior was supposed to be operated.

Unfortunately, because of her high blood pressure, the operation was postponed.

Now, this miracle-girl is taking pills for lowering the blood pressure, and new tests are appointed for two years.

The two moved to Florida for the warmer weather which is essential to Virsavya’s well-being.

While waiting, they’re raising money for the medical expenses and so far people have donated over 20 000 dollars, and they continue to do so.
