Here Comes New Cancer Drug, The Most Effective Of Them All!

The revolutionary pill is a miracle. As its creators says it can completely destroy the cells of some of the most notorious cancers.

Substance named OTS964, could represent a miracle cure for some cancers . It should be taken in form of pill or by injection, and so far has proved that it is able to completely eradicate cancer cells of certain types of cancers.

So far experiments have been successfully conducted on mice infected with human cancer, and clinical trials onpeople will start next year. Several types of cancer, such as lung cancer, breast, brain, liver, and bladder, contain TOPK protein that is essential for the cancer cells to spread.

The main function of this drug is to block the TOPK protein, as it attacks directly to its core, while avoiding hitting the healthy cells. Because of this, there are almost no negative side effects.

– We have found a molecular target for the drug about 10 years ago, but it took almost a decade to find an effective way to inhibit – said the study author, Dr. Yusuke Nakamura, adding that it is a drug that really promises.

After the drug was injected into infected mice twice a week for three weeks, the tumors completely disappeared in five of six mice. The drug was more effective when it was in form of tablets, because then the drug cured all of them. Mice who received the drug in form of tablet had a lower number of white blood cells, but they were all fully recovered within two weeks.

Nakamura notes that all drugs tested so far only stop the cancer from spreading, and it was rare for some of them to completely eradicate the cancer.

The efficacy of this drug in other types of cancer is still being researched.
