The fresh root can be used over the whole year, if it plants in wet sand in the proper time or if it’s kept in the basement. If you have a bigger root, you can grate the necessary quantity and wrap the rest of it in aluminum foil. Then leave it in the fridge in a box with other vegetables.

If you want your grated horseradish to remain fresh after three weeks, mix it with a teaspoon of sugar and 4 tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar. You can keep horseradish in a well shut jar in your fridge up to 3 weeks.

  • 125 gr of horseradish
  • 3 lemons (which will be previously put in a little bit of water and a tablespoon of vinegar for 10 minutes and rinse all of the pesticides from them)
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
PROCEDURE:
In a blender, mix 125 grams of horseradish.
Take three lemons, cut them, take out their seeds and blend them together with their crust.
Then mix them with the horseradish.
Add 3 tablespoons of honey in the mixture and stir everything well.
Keep this beverage in a shut jar in your fridge.
Take one small teaspoon of this balm two times a day, together with your meals.
Use it for 3 weeks and watch the size of your waistline decrease.
